Born on 14/07/1976 to Late Arabinda Mazumdar and Late Deepali Mazumdar completed schooling at Don Bosco Dibrugarh followed by Srimanta Sankar Academy, Guwahati. Graduated from B. Barooah College, Guwahati and completed LL.B. from Delhi University in 2001.

Enrolled in the Bar Council of Delhi and subsequently transferred to Bar Council of Assam etc. His practice involved mainly Civil, Constitutional and Service matters alongside arbitration, contractual and criminal matters.

Represented the Education Department, Assam as well as Dibrugarh University, KK Handique Open University, Kumar Bhaskar Sanskrit University and certain private companies.

Elevated as Additional Judge of the Gauhati High Court on 30/07/2025.

Justice Sanjeev Kumar Sharma was born to Bijuy Sarma and late Dr. Banikanta Sarma on 21/09/1971. He received his early education at GU Model School, Saint Mary's Convent, and Don Bosco High School, Guwahati. He graduated from Guwahati Commerce College, whereafter he obtained his LLB degree from University Law College, Guwahati. He joined the Gauhati High Court Bar in the year 1999 and practiced mostly on the writ side, as well as in civil and criminal matters. He was recruited to Grade One of the Assam Judicial Service in the year 2012, and thereafter served the judiciary in various capacities including as District and Session Judge in six districts the last being Kamrup (Metro) and also as Special Judge, CBI & NIA. He also served the executive as Legal Remembrancer cum Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Assam, Judicial Department and Member Secretary, Assam State Legal Services Authority and also the legislature as Secretary of the Assam Legislative Assembly. He was elevated to the High Court on 30th July 2025.

Born on 15.05.1973, did early schooling in Aizawl. Obtained BA(Hons) in English from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University, completed LL.B from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University.

Did apprenticeship in Guwahati, and enrolled with the North Eastern Bar Council on 02.11.1998.

She has served as Standing Counsel for the National Insurance Company, Government Advocate and Additional Public Prosecutor in the Aizawl Bench of the Gauhati High Court. She has also worked as Lecturer (Part time) in the then Aizawl Law College.

She joined the Mizoram Judicial Service (District Judge Cadre) on 24.05.2011. Has held the posts of Addl. District & Sessions Judge of Aizawl and Lunglei, Registrar of the Aizawl Bench of Gauhati High Court, Secretary to the Government of Mizoram Law and Judicial Department and District & Sessions Judge, Aizawl till her elevation as Additional Judge of the Gauhati High Court on 10.09.2026.
